Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee is Jerry Seinfeld’s series of unscripted conversations with fellow comedians, each built around a classic car and a cup of coffee. Matthew F. Ammirati developed the show with Seinfeld at Ammirati, the New York agency he founded in 2000.

The series premiered online on July 19, 2012, on Crackle, made for phones and tablets at a time when branded content still mostly meant thirty-second spots. Acura became its sole sponsor from the second season in 2013, and the show later moved to Netflix. Over eleven seasons and 84 episodes, guests ranged from Larry David and Chris Rock to President Barack Obama.

The series earned Primetime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Short-Format Nonfiction Program in 2013 and 2014. When Seinfeld accepted his Honorary Clio at the 55th Clio Awards in New York on October 1, 2014, he thanked Ammirati from the stage.
